More Info:

WARNING: A damaged battery can be unsafe. A battery that is handled, stored, or used in an unsafe manner can be unsafe too. When we pack the battery to ship to you, the battery is checked for obvious damage before the shipping box is sealed. If any damage is seen during packing, we replace that battery with an undamaged one. We pack the battery well enough to take moderate shaking and impact without major damage. We cannot control how the carrier handles the package every step of the way nor can we assume the carrier will notify us if the package was ever dropped or mishandled.

Therefore, as the consumer, you have some responsibilities when it comes to the battery's safety and safe use. When the package arrives, inspect the battery for any visible damage. If the outer shipping box appears badly damaged, email us photos of the outer shipping box and the contents inside including photos of the battery itself so we can help identify any safety issues before you attempt to use the battery. Just as important as safety in shipping is how you, the owner of the battery, handle and care for the battery. If you improperly charge the battery, charge it in a charger or on an outlet not specifically designed for it, use the battery in an unsafe manner or in a machine not specifically designed for it, or use the battery in a damaged device, or use the battery in environmental conditions not suited to safe battery use (including extreme heat, direct sunlight, high humidity or in or near water), or mishandle or drop the battery, or drop or crash the device the battery is installed in, or handle the device that battery is installed in in a rough manner, you could create your own dangerous circumstances which may cause harm to you, your property, and others. If you are aware of any damage (visible or not), mishandling, abuse, misuse, of either the battery, charger, or even your device you are using the battery in, THEN YOU MUST STOP USING THAT BATTERY, CHARGER, AND YOUR MACHINE until you replace any damaged or affected parts. If you are NOT aware of any damage (visible or not), mishandling, abuse, misuse, of either the battery, charger, or even your device you are using the battery in, then it is still your responsibility to confirm the safe condition and use of all items in your care from day one until the day you recycle the items.
