How long will the battery last?

How long a battery will last depends on runtime and charge cycles. The runtime depends on how much the battery is used before needing a recharge. Lithium based batteries are designed to provide 300-500 discharge/charge cycles. So if you were to charge the lithium battery every single day from 0% charge to 100% charge in about 365 days you would wear the battery out to the point that it will need to be replaced. One thing to bear in mind and that is if a battery can no longer charge because it has been used up to its design of 300+ discharge/charge cycles then you used the available life of the battery.
