After watching Youtube videos and using a hair dryer to loosen up the glue on the old battery, the tools supplied by batteryship worked well to replace the battery. Remember to take your time and not get in hurry. All works well and I recommend batteryship.com"

"Battery is excellent and my Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 generation 3 is working like new. Thankyou also for your help getting me the correct battery. BTW, took about a little more than an hour to get Kindle taken apart, removing the old battery (a real b**ch), installing new battery, and then getting all the parts reconnected properly. It took two of us working together to pull out the old battery since it I glued in like something I've never seen before. BUT, it works like a charm."

"I received this battery quickly and was able to install it myself - I really appreciated the tool kit I received along with the battery. The instructions for installation on the website weren't great, but I found a YouTube video showing how to take apart my specific Kindle Fire, and used that as a guide. It's been over a week since installation and so far the battery is working fine."

"I searched the internet for a replacement battery and videos on \"how to.\" Never found the video with my exact model of Kindle, but found several that described the sequence. Hardest thing was removing the sticky taped plastic strip and then the sticky tape restrained original battery. New replacement battery gives my Kindle all day usage without frequent re-charges. My 3 year-old Kindle is now alive again."

BatteryShip’s Response: "Terry, sorry to hear you were unable to perform the installation. Why did you rate the battery a 2 star when you simply didn't have the skill or patience to do the install? I don't see that you even tried contacting us for help. The kindle you own (before you tossed it) does require patience and moderate technical skill to get the battery in. Sorry you gave up on it. Most customers find it a little challenging but they do end up saving their kindles and their money (new kindles are NOT cheap)."
