How fast is Free Shipping and how do I qualify?
- Your order will get processed and shipped out just as quickly as any other shipping method we offer (though actual delivery is often faster when you select a paid shipping option).
- Free Shipping applies to orders placed on our website that ship within the USA (lower 48 states), no minimum!
- Fees starting at $5 apply for non-contiguous states/territories like AK, HI, PR, VI, MH, GU, and APO/FPO.

Free Shipping travels by the most economical methods listed below from either UPS or USPS/Mail (our choice, but PO Boxes OK too):
- Free Shipping For Lithium Batteries: Lithium batteries (HAZMAT) move by ground/surface only. For lighter lithium shipments, we generally use USPS Ground Advantage which normally takes 7-14 days for lithium batteries depending on your distance from Wyoming (longer for non-contiguous states). For heavier lithium battery shipments, we generally use UPS Ground (1-5 days for most areas).
- Free Shipping For Non-Lithium Batteries (and other products): For non-lithium batteries and other products we will use USPS Ground Advantage (lighter shipments), Priority Mail, or UPS Ground (for heavier shipments). USPS Ground Advantage generally arrives in 2-9 days for non-lithium batteries while Priority Mail usually arrives in 2-4 days (longer for non-contiguous states). UPS Ground arrives in 1-5 days for most areas.
To qualify, simply submit your order online through our secure website. Shipping address must be located in the USA lower 48 states for the Free Shipping option to appear. Fees starting at $5 apply for non-contiguous states/territories like AK, HI, PR, VI, MH, GU, and APO/FPO.

Free Shipping Terms
- Free Shipping delivery time is generally within 14 days for the lower 48 states, but is not guaranteed. If we ship your order free using USPS it will ship via USPS Ground Advantage (if 13 ounces or less) or Priority Mail. If we ship your order free using UPS it will ship via UPS Ground. With either carrier, you will receive a USPS electronic delivery confirmation number or UPS tracking number via your order status page and/or via email.
- If we find your order is ineligible for Free Shipping for any reason, we will inform you of any additional charges while you are checking out online (on screen) so you know your actual total before submitting the order. If for any reason we cannot predict the additional charges until after your order is submitted, we will contact you by phone or email to get your verbal or written authorization for any additional amount not already quoted on screen during checkout.
- If all the items in your order do not qualify for Free Shipping, this may affect your order's elegibility for Free Shipping.
- Canceling items, combining orders, or changing your shipping address, speed, or preference will affect your order's eligibility for Free Shipping.
- Applies only to orders placed online for qualifying merchandise at the BatteryShip web site.
- Excludes items that do not include a statement that they are eligible for FREE Shipping next to their price.
- Applies to U.S. delivery addresses in the lower 48 contiguous states only. Fees starting at $5 apply for non-contiguous states/territories like AK, HI, PR, VI, MH, GU, and APO/FPO. Geographic shipping restrictions may apply to certain addresses. Your shipping address(es) must be correct and deliverable by US Mail AND/OR UPS.
- Weekend delivery cannot be requested. We use a variety of carriers to deliver orders, and some do not deliver on weekends.
- If you choose the Free Shipping offer you are not allowed to select the carrier or ship speed. Your order will be shipped via the US Postal Service when possible, or we will use UPS Ground in certain cases. If you need a specific carrier or faster ship speed then you must choose a different shipping option.
- Free Shipping applies to ground shipping only. Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day shipping options do not qualify for the Free Shipping offer.
- May be used in conjunction with a promotional code or quantity discount.
- We reserve the right to change or discontinue FREE Shipping at any time.
