Some tools came from EGO with a 2.5Ah battery included while others could be as high as 7.5Ah. Decide how much capacity you prefer BEFORE YOU BUY. This is important since a new 4Ah battery runs your tool twice as long as a new 2Ah. But if you have/need at 7.5Ah, for example, this new 4.0Ah battery runs your tool only about half as long as a new 7.5Ah would before you have to charge again. This is also important because high capacity lithium batteries cost alot more to return than most small lithium batteries do if you change your mind later.
