"I'm assuming that this product would have met my needs. It looked to be an exact replacement. The issue I had was that several of the 19(!) very tiny screws on the back of my G4 were frozen so I could not remove the backing plate even though the battery came with a good assortment of screw drivers. I ended up buying a new Moto G7 from Amazon."

"The battery is OK, but the tool kit is lousy. I got only 5 of the 19 screws out of the phone. I had to take the phone to a professional place who replaced the battery for me. It was still cheaper than having the shop replace the battery with their product. Obviously, they didn't like doing it, but they new they had a future customer."

BatteryShip’s Response: "Larry, we've had thousands out of thousands of customers buy this battery for the same phone you have and had success. Some screws are frozen in place and have to be broken/forced. Motorola never designed this phone to be opened easily (even for pro repair techs), that's why the screws are so small/fragile. Even with the best driver, if the screw can be bent between your fingers (I've done it and I'm not a bodybuilder), the problem is the screw and motorola's design preventing easy repair. Also, perhaps your inexperience with repairing modern electronics played a part? I'm sorry you had difficulty, but put the blame where it belongs, not on us. You broke a metal screwdriver forcing a 1mm screw, are you for real? You needed help but forced your way through instead. Should have hired a pro to help you save your phone. This is a teachable moment folks!"
